Some hints to help you sell more and more Viva-Lite
|
New Viva-Lite products.
If you have not recently ordered new Viva-Lite full spectrum led-lamps and CLF-lamps, please hurry. They are very good products.
Concentrate also on selling luminaires
It is not wise to sell only lamps, you can make your turnover at least double, if you sell also luminaires for. You know best, which luminaires fits for Viva-Lite. That´s something your customers don´t know and that´s why you have to tell them that. Your customers are more satisfied, if you help them. People buy luminaires anyway, they could buy those from you. Find out some luminaire companies, that give you a good 30-40 % discount.
The best selling luminaire of AD-Lux, a IP64-luminaire kit
In this picture the upper part is a dimmable electronic ballast (can be also non-dimmable), which is capped with protector tube (so you cannot get electric schoch from the wires). Protector tube is attached with screws, so you cannot take it off. You can link together several ballasts and make as long luminaire as you like. (e.g. all the walls in one room)
The two lamps are overlapping each other, so the light is continuous: there are no black spaces between the lamps like here.
When you know the length of the wall, you can find the correct luminaire in this table. Eg. if you like to have 5,7 meter indirect light, you choose 2 pieces of 2x49 W luminaires (4 lamps and 2 ballasts), total length 5904 mm and overlap the lamps.
When you put the lamps on a light shelf ( Finnish installing guide, see pictures), you see the final result. We also sell these shelves, sold already ca. 10 kilometres = 65.000 eur in Finland. We can find the nearest dealer for you.
A lot of light in a room, no blending, you do not (necesserily) need any ceiling luminaires. Our customers are very satisfied.
This "Saalinki"-luminaire is very good for indirect lighting. You can use tne English term "Spreader"-luminaire, which is the vertical part in a mast of a ceiling boat. Nobody has heard about it in your country. When your customer tell to his electrician than he will have indirect daylight lighting with Speader-luminaire almost in every room in his house, who has never heard about Spreader, think about it: Your customer knows a luminaire, which his eletrician do not know. You customer will not buy the standard luminaires and lamps, which his electrician likes to sell.
We already have sold those ca. 10 kilometer in Finland. It is a very popular way of lighting, when families build a house, not only in Finland but also in Estonia and southern Europe. In this picture all the yellow lines are Spreader-luminaires. This house will be ready soon and you´re going to see pictures of it.
I recommend that you start to sell also those. Feel free to contact AD-Lux to get more information.
"Spreader" is an economic solution. The ballast is installed e.g. 5 cm from the lamp and it´s heat. A standard luminaire has ca. 20.000 user hours because the heat of the lamp shortens the life time of the electronic. But in Spreader-luminaire there is no lamp heat. The lifetime of a ballast is 50.000 hours but when you install it in room temperature, the lifetime can be much more. It is easy to sell this economic luminaire.
We also have a similar IP67, which is a luminaire, not a kit. The picture is here:
The customer can install this himself.
- 1 or 2 x 24 W
- 1 or 2 x 39 W (this ballast suites both 24 and 39 W lamps
- 1 or 2 x 54 W

Discount calculator for the whole home lighting
People send us these sheets filled and we only need to send them the products and the invoice. Very genious. They also see directly how much discount they get. Our maximum discount is 15 %, if the amount is over 5.000 eur. We get such orders weekly.
I recommend that you start with some new ideas immediately.
Pictures from the housing fairs in Finland 2011
Here are some hundreds of lighting pictures from the housing fairs this year. See the pictures and note the grades (4 = bad, 10 is very good). Every picture has a grade. You could ask, why we have given e.g. number 4 in picture nr. 5 in the house 19. Maybe you can guess...

Press releases
Press releases of Viva-Lite can easily be made and it is not so expensive:
http://de.cision.com/ or other similar service in your country. They send your press release to hundreds of papers/magazines for a relatively small amount of money.
We have done it a couple of times a year. Last autumn it was about the housing fair evaluation and about our coming fair in Helsinki, Habitare / Light. It was published ia in the biggest Finnish commercial newspaper.
Lectures
We gave 4 lectures there on home lighting at Habitare/Light-fair. When you will do the same in your country?
Our marketing letter before Christmas
Look here. Click the Viva-Lite led and also its link
Home lighting guide
You could make a similar Home lighting guide in your country as we have. We sell a lot with help of this. This will be translated to Estonian language soon. First edition will be of 1000 pieces. A good start.
Christmas donation
We suggest that instead of sending Christmas presents to your customers you can donate some Viva-Lite lamps to a hospital, e.g. to childrens cancer department. You could also light some rooms, maybe their classroom (in Turku there is a very small classroom for these patients). You can take pictures before and after. You can also invite the press to make a story when the donation is ready. A nice story for your web page. Here is our Christmas card.
Best regards
